I would be very grateful for any help!
My Variosix F, which I rarely use, unfortunately does not display the aperture value when I fire the flash to check it. The display remains stuck on "F" and "80" (shutter speed) – all other displays are working. Please find a photo of the display attached.

Perhaps the "self-test" will help.
It is described on page 6 of the attached user manual.

Does it only fail to display anything when you fire the flash separately, or does it also happen when you’ve connected the flash unit and the camera via a cable and fire the flash by pressing the metering button?
