Hi,
I’m looking for possible alternatives to Ilford Washaid for wetting baryta papers (Ilford and Foma baryta papers). I’d like to use this to significantly reduce the wetting time.
Adox Thio-Clear looks very promising – higher dilution and a longer shelf life than Ilford.
Does anyone have any experience with this or any tips?

You can use it as a direct replacement. The active principle is the same – we have simply taken care to use substances that are as environmentally friendly as possible, as we believe this is appropriate for a product designed to save water.
THIO Clear is biodegradable and non-toxic.
