ADOX D-76.
Just like with XT-3/XTol, all processing characteristics (development times, curve, sensitivity utilisation, extension factors, dilution factors and everything else I haven’t thought of right now :) are IDENTICAL to Kodak D-76.
In addition, we have given ADOX D-76:
- a borate-free buffer
- a biodegradable complexing agent
- Captura, so that it neither produces dust nor odours when mixed, works faster and the developer dissolves from around 29°C (compared to almost 60°C for the original).
ADOX D-76 is produced in 1-litre and 5-litre packs and is more attractively priced than the yellow ‘original’, even though it costs us significantly more to produce due to the new, more environmentally friendly ingredients. We earn a little less, but we’re not exactly living on a shoestring from chemical sales either. So buy with a clear environmental conscience and enjoy your hobby.
