Hello, after about 30 years, I’d like to part with my drum drying press. The machine dries baryta prints wonderfully and effortlessly, whether matt or gloss. The maximum width for prints to be dried is about 55 cm (I’ll need to measure it again). Over the years, I’ve replaced the two drive motors once. All in all, it’s a machine built to last...
However, the machine requires a footprint of about 80 x 80 cm, with a height of approx. 170 cm. Transporting it isn’t exactly straightforward either; you’ll need at least three people. And a 16A three-phase socket is handy for running it – though I did run the machine for several years on a standard 16A Schuko socket, albeit with only 65% of the heating power, meaning the preheating takes longer. But it works...
The machine is ready for use in the Dresden area and is available for viewing. We can discuss the price then.
