Hi there. When I was mixing the Adotol, I suddenly noticed some small black crumbs in it that wouldn’t dissolve. The water was about 22°C. What could be causing this? The Adotol mixture is developing perfectly normally, though – in other words, very well.

If there are only a few, simply filter it (using a coffee filter, or even a paper towel if necessary) and develop.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Could it be that the water cools down quickly when the powder is added and then stirred in? I did it in the lab basement, which is unheated and currently 15°C. So the water was sitting in the 15°C room when I prepared the developer. Next time, I’ll heat the water in a water bath and mix it in there.
