Hello community :-) Is there anyone here who develops their 8x10 film in a JOBO DRUM? I only just had my first go at this the day before yesterday and I’m not yet happy with the results. My procedure: Fomapan 400 (at 400 ISO), Rodinal 1+25, old ILFORD motorised Agitator, development time (according to Massive Dev Chart): 5 mins 30 sec. [color=#ffffff]So, who develops 8x10 Fomapan 400 sheet film using a machine? Which chemicals, and above all: in what concentration? I’d be grateful for your advice![/colo

Hi there. The Foma 400 film is only actually ISO 200. I’d only use Rodinal at a dilution of 1:100 for 30 minutes. And it needs to be developed undisturbed. In other words: the developer needs to be left to settle in the canister; otherwise, it won’t work. HC-110 would probably be better for you.

...as a rule, these films rarely achieve the stated speed... Just try performing an exposure at 200 ISO instead of 400 ISO...
