Brown residues on the bottleneck

Hi,

I’m using Adox FX39 for few years and I never saw anything like that – residue above developer in the bottle. Bottle wasn’t opened and it was kept in the dark with recent production date. Shaking the bottle do not dissolve residue.

Please take a look on attached photos and let me know if this developer is usable? Or maybe this batch of developers is contaminated or something like that and should be replaced?

If there are a few brown spots on the bottleneck but the developer itself is of transparent or slightly yellowisch color then all is OK and you can use it with 100% performance.
Only if crystals have formed on the bottom I would be cearefull. What happend here is that some drops stuck to the bottleneck and dried out. This happnes all the time. In black bottles you do not see this- only in our transparent bottles.
