Hello,
I am looking for the following glassless masks/inserts for my Laborator L1000, a condenser camera, fitted with the Otoneg 2 image stage:
- for 6x7 format negatives and
- for 6x4.5 format negatives
Perhaps I’ll be in luck?
So far, I’ve been making do by using the negative stage with the glass inserts and covering the negatives with homemade masks made from thin black card, but with the proper glassless inserts, it would be a much neater solution and gentler on the material ;-)

Kienzle Fototechnik in Wildberg. They stock and manufacture spare parts for every type of enlarger, and they also carry out repairs. Sometimes it’s even cheaper than buying second-hand original parts on eBay. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them – although I do own a Kienzle myself, but a mask is a mask. They have a collection of old enlargers there which they use to manufacture spare parts to exact specifications, with a very high degree of precision. Tel. 07054/8436 – ask to speak to Mr Kienzle. He’s the driving force behind the whole operation.
