Hello,
?
HP5+ at 1600 and Delta 3200 at 4000 give me really lovely results in Emofin. I’ve now got a roll of 120 TMax 400 here and’d like to develop it in Emofin as if it were 1600 or 3200. Unfortunately, there isn’t much to be found online about this wonderful developer; even the Tetenal data sheet has gone missing, or perhaps I’m just too daft. The developer is no longer listed on the Tetenal website, but I was given a 2.5-litre pack as a gift. With 35mm film, I’d simply use a 20cm strip and see what comes out, but that’s not an option with roll film.
?
Does anyone have any experience with the TMax400/Emofin combination, or a link to the data sheet?

Hello,
If it helps, the 1989 data sheet for the Tmax400 states 4.5 minutes per stage for a gamma of 0.55 and 7 minutes per stage for a gamma of 0.7, with a 1-minute tilt cycle and at 20°C (powder version).

Hello grommi,
I found the following values in a slightly more recent data sheet:
Tmax 400 / Emofin powder
ASA 1600 – Rotation or 3-second tilt at 20°C – 8 minutes per stage
ASA 800 – 5 minutes
ASA 400 – 3 minutes (for 3 minutes at 20°C and 3-second agitation, a gamma of 0.55 is specified elsewhere in the same booklet).
I’ve never tried Emofin with the old or current T-Max films, but I quite like the current TMax400 in Diafine (with an exposure of around 800/30).
Good luck, Georg.

Thanks to both of you, that’s really helpful. It’ll be fine.
