Hello!
I’ve come across a Kaiser 4042 dry press for a good price. Would you recommend buying it? Unfortunately, the cable is missing. What sort of cable is it, and where can I get hold of one?

Normally, the cables are standardised, so you’ll need to look for what’s known as a ‘hot appliance cable’. That said, I can’t actually see the connection at the moment.

As the previous speaker mentioned, you’re looking for a heater cable.
It’s not quite that simple, though, as there are various types available. Just take a photo – for this purpose, it can even be a digital one for once – perhaps include a few measurements, or send a spare parts enquiry to Kaiser.

Also known as clamp terminals. As far as I know, they don’t come in different shapes. Ready-made cables are available for a few euros, for example at Conrad.
