Hello everyone,
I’m new here and I’d like to ask for your help.
I’ve set up my darkroom again and picked up a timer/analyser on eBay, but
I can’t find any instructions anywhere.
The exact model name is: Philips PDT 1020 System 1000 Timer/Analyser.
Does anyone here have this device and perhaps a manual, or a brief explanation of how to use it?
I’d be very grateful for any help.

Hello, is this a device with a 'light rocker' for measuring the exposure time in the black-and-white process? Why don't you take a photo of the device?

Hi Heike,
You can buy the instructions online for around €12 to €14. I was just having a rummage through my old Philips brochures, but yours wasn’t in there.
The brochures were from the 1980s, and they were already on the 2000 series back then.

Hi everyone,
I received the device today and, of course, tried it out straight away. It has slight measurement fluctuations, probably due to its age,
but after I’d tested it with my different types of paper, it gave me very good initial readings for the test strips. It’s definitely
going to save me a fair bit of waste. And the manual for 14 euros... I bagged the whole lot for 15...
It’s much easier to use than I’d expected, almost self-explanatory.
