Agfa Portriga Rapid develop

Hello, [font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]A friend has given me [font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]the following paper, amongst other things, as I’m getting back into enlargement: Agfa Portriga Rapid. White, semi-matt, RPN 112/3 Does anyone have experience with this paper, or perhaps one, two or three tips on how I should handle it? Is it a baryta or a PE paper? I’d like to find out the washing and fixing times. Hi Ralle, ? The first ‘1’ in the paper designation stands for baryta (PE would be a ‘3’). There are various opinions on how long to wash baryta paper (ranging from 15 minutes to several hours). Portriga Rapid is a standard baryta paper and does not require any special treatment in this regard. The same applies to fixing (I use the fixer at a dilution of 1+4 and fix for one minute). Before your first attempts, be sure to develop an unexposed sheet. Some old Agfa papers show significant fog. ? Best regards, ? Henning
