Hello Sebastian,
?
Is there anything in particular I need to bear in mind during the development process? Or should I just use standard C41 development?
?
I haven’t worked with this film yet, nor do I intend to, but as far as development is concerned, the big red
dot on the packet suggests that the latter is more likely to be the case. When it comes to filtering, the thing about this film is that it’s actually designed to make pictures look bad if you process it in the same way as films you’d normally use to get good pictures. This means you have to go to great lengths to achieve good images with this film (and this effort is usually in vain, which everyone knows in advance when using the film; see also Mirko’s detailed disclaimer). Conversely, for you this means: the special effect you’re probably referring to—what is generally understood as poor colour fidelity by standard measures—is most likely to be achieved if you *don’t* try to counteract it, but (as it says there) simply filter out the mask first and then see what comes out.
