Cyanotype, or blueprinting, is a method dating back more than 150 years for producing photographic prints with cyan-blue tones. This fine art printing process allows for the creation of atmospheric images, each of which is unique.
The course consists of a theoretical section, in which the techniques of cyanotype printing are explained to us. In the subsequent practical section, we will produce our own cyanotypes. We have the option of bringing our own negatives to print our own motifs or images, or of using negatives provided by our tutor, Jochen Rohner.
At the end of the course, we can take our own cyanotypes home with us.
