Hi everyone, It’s raining and thundering here. So today I’ve had plenty of time to finally write a post about the attenuator, which I use very frequently. This topic isn’t covered in sufficient detail either online or in specialist books. Perhaps just a quick addition: When it comes to negatives, the Farmer’s reducer has one drawback: once it’s gone, it’s gone. € I’d tend to go for the method using chromium bleach and re-development, because with negatives you can repeat the process until you get it right. ;)

Hi Thomas, great article. I’ve had a few sachets for mixing for a while now but hadn’t quite got round to using them. Following your recommendation, I think I’ll go for the more convenient ready-made liquid mix. A good, detailed article on a method that’s not exactly run-of-the-mill. € Regards, Otto
