I’d like to take a few black-and-white long-exposure shots on our holiday.
?
How suitable do you think Adox Silvermax is for this? Unfortunately, I can’t find any information on this in the product specifications.
I’ve still got a few rolls left in my stash and don’t want to order Acros specifically for this purpose or switch to a different film.

I’d be very grateful for any information.

Silvermax uses a modified APX 100 emulsion. It can therefore be assumed that its black and white performance is similar to that of the Leverkusen APX 100 – see page 12 of the Agfa Black and White Handbook.

Schwarzschild behaviour:
No adjustment required for exposure times between 1/10,000 and 1/2 s
For an exposure time of 1 s: +1/2
For an exposure time of 10 s: +1
For an exposure time of 100 s: +2
