Hello! My Dynax 505si (bought on eBay) always takes 1–2 seconds after switching on before the screen displays anything. The battery is new. Is this normal? I haven’t experienced this with other cameras. Thanks for your advice! Mario?

Hi Mario, I used to have a Minolta Dynax 500si and, as far as I can remember, it easily took a second for the screen to display anything. The autofocus motor is also very slow. Yeah, it's so slow. The later Dynax 5 is a bit quicker and better in every other respect too. Above all, it has much better autofocus and a metal mount.
