Hi,
I’ve got a roll of each of the films mentioned above lying around and wanted to ask whether I can develop them using the developer mentioned above, what their ISO ratings are, and what the development times are?
I’m not really keen on buying all the bits and bobs for the developer just for two rolls of film, as it would involve several different components...

Hello Tobias,
I don’t know how similar the Orthopan UR is to the Copex Rapid. But I did ask Mr Schain about this combination. His reply was:
?
?
We haven’t tested [Copex in Adotech II] yet. The developer might work under certain circumstances, but you will definitely need a much lower dilution—in other words, a more concentrated working solution—so perhaps a dilution of at least 1 + 7 to 1 + 5, rather than the 1 + 14 dilution required for the CMS 20.
Given the price of the developer, that would simply be too expensive. We therefore recommend our Modular UR developer (Part A1 and Part B) for the Copex Rapid, which was developed specifically for this emulsion.

However, Orthopan UR works perfectly in Adotech II – because it is identical to CMS20.

Hi Frankie-Boy,
And is the DXS model the Copex Rapid?
Cheers, Tim

Hi,
Yeah, I think so, but I’d better check with Uwe or Mirko.
(Sorry for taking so long to spot that)
