Hello everyone,
?
I might like to try a high-resolution film at some point; there are plenty of them out there, but most are AGFA Copex Rapid or High Definition Pan, and in the US there are also some Kodak-based options. When I first looked into this a long time ago, I came across Gigabit film. There was also a Fotoimpex page on the subject and a manufacturer’s website.
It seemed obvious to me to send the manufacturer an email to ask if they were still in business, as I couldn’t buy the product anywhere.
After a few days, I received a reply with the subject line ‘Sign of life’, saying roughly that they were still around and that the film was even available in colour.
I thanked them for the reply and asked again for a source where I could buy it, but never received a response.
The website is still up, but I still can’t buy the film anywhere, certainly not in colour.
Does anyone know anything more about this?
?
Regards, Achim

Hi Uwe,
I had a feeling it was Copex, but I’d be more interested to know what’s become of the product or the company.
They still have a website, but I can’t find the product for sale anywhere. And then there’s that comment about it even being available in colour – that would be an interesting topic too.
Best regards, Achim
