As announced here on the forum a few weeks ago, we are now manufacturing the ATOMAL in-house.
This has become necessary, amongst other things, because an EU regulation now requires the product to be packaged in three parts, and as a result, one part must be vacuum-sealed to maintain shelf life.
?
But there is a silver lining:
we are now more flexible.
?
So whilst the price for the small pack is unfortunately rising due to the proportionally high packaging costs, we can alternatively offer a 5-litre pack, which at €6.99* is
significantly cheaper compared to the old 2x1-litre pack (the old 2x1-litre pack was €4.99*, so 5 litres would have been €12.78*).
?
What’s changing?
?
First, the good news:
nothing is changing about the end product!
You’ll now be mixing from three sachets, but the ‘soup’ in the pot is the same.
Films emerge from the tank happy, fine-grained, balanced and set to their nominal sensitivity.
?
However, the packaging is changing in two respects: firstly in reference to the pack contents (three parts to be dissolved one after the other) and secondly in reference to the sales units. Previously, we had a pack for a 2x1 litre batch; now there is a pack for a 1 litre batch and a pack for a 5 litre batch? (each containing three parts A, B and C).
?
You can read
here again why the packaging is now so complex.
?
I hope everything is clear ;-)
?
Best regards,
?
Mirko
