This week we carried out our first laboratory-scale casting trials.
To do this, we converted one of our test casting machines from film casting to a paper substrate.
The tests were carried out whilst it was still light.
In about three weeks’ time, we will be able to produce the first samples in fixed gradients to carry out initial tests on their photographic properties.
