Piercingmann Hello, my name is Sandro. My girlfriend’s grandad gave me two Canon T90s along with a few other bits and bobs. I’d like to sell them, but unfortunately I don’t know much about them. Both Canons still work, though :-) One of them is missing the battery compartment. As I said, I want to sell these items.
Muep Or a car boot sale, depending on how old the equipment is. And definitely sell the lenses separately – you’ll get more money that way. Only if you really can’t shift them should you offer the whole lot as a set.
wosis123 I’d actually recommend eBay, selling everything separately. The cameras usually go for around €100–130; the Canon lenses are standard fare but are also listed quite often – they don’t fetch much: the 50mm lenses go for around €30, the zoom lenses a bit more. The Maginons aren’t exactly a hit; they don’t fetch much, nor do the rest of the accessories; the flash might go for around 20–25 EUR.

Muep It’s interesting how many eBay listings there are: on ‘mine’, the price starts at 20 and goes up to 150 :)
TR But nobody actually asked for those prices. In fact, the question implied in the subject line isn't even asked. :D
Olivinyl Hello everyone, The Canon T90 isn’t a bad camera. It’s often been given a bad rap simply because, after buying the body, there wasn’t enough money left for decent lenses. A solid 4 frames per second is actually quite a decent rate. My suggestion: buy some new batteries, a 5-pack of cheap colour negative film, have a bit of a play with the camera, get the film developed cheaply at a discount chemist’s (including prints) and have some fun – or not! If not, at least you’ll know whether the camera works and you can sell it on eBay with a clear conscience. You’ll get about 170 euros for the set, assuming someone’s looking for a camera like that. Otherwise, sell the camera with the 50mm lens, and the rest separately. I inherited a Canon EOS 500 with lots of accessories from my grandad... Just a plastic box, really. I’m keeping it anyway, as there’s nothing (not much) for it on eBay and besides, it’s now my camera to lend out! It even happens quite often that friends ask me if I have an analogue camera to lend them (for free)... most of them even want one or more rolls of black-and-white film to go with it... Best wishes, Oliver
wosis123 In its day, the T90 was the most advanced and groundbreaking of all Canon cameras, at the very least, and offered features that only became available in the EOS range much later. If it works properly and is used to its full potential, it’s a real joy to use. Have a bit of a look at this gem (I could send you the user manual as a PDF), otherwise: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/canont90/index.htm http://t90.tripod.com/index.htm http://www.paradesquare.ca/canon_fd/t-90.htm ...
