Hi,
Check this out!

It’s just a silly bit from SPON, but never mind… when I saw Steve McCurry with his ‘Afghan Girl’, it really brought a tear to my eye.
It’s almost embarrassing: apart from McCurry and D. Burnett, I didn’t know a single one of these super-icons.
That camera is incredible – does that beast really exist? It makes me feel sick to think I’ve loaded a backdrop like that into it and am now supposed to press the shutter – good heavens!
Best wishes,
Frank

As far as I know, you can hire the camera.
Here’s another post about the camera:

Urnes
Not here in Germany anymore. It was at Polaroid in Dietzenbach or Neu-Isenburg and, as far as I know, has been scrapped or has at least gone missing. There were three cameras in total. They were usually made available to artists in exchange for a few prints for the Polaroid collection.
Regards, Sven.

The camera hasn’t gone missing. It went to the Czech Republic with the cameraman at the time, Jan Hnizdo. Jan Hnizdo runs his own studio there in Prague.
